Why didn't we video call?

Because you were uncomfortable with video calls... I think we were both uncomfortable with it actually... Well you never asked... would it have helped though? I mean yeah you could see my face but I wouldn't have been there with you... and what if it was a cruddy quality it wouldn't have been a good option...

I was concerned about my phone making the call cruddy quality though... same with my laptop

@Fa_Maverick when it is not possible to meet personally, you have to manage with cruddy quality.

Even if the quality was bad it's still nice to see someone's face and know that In a sense you are there with them , not quite sure the context for this discussion but even a chat to someone is better than them being alone :-) hope you are well
