I posted about this a week or so ago, when I was still working on painting. I started this project before the Coronavirus stuff amped up, before we were suggested to STAY HOME, before mass amounts of businesses were shut down. I am not a big TV watcher, so I was thinking about diving into projects around the house. I rent the upstairs part of a duplex, which my sister owns. This house is a little bit older, evidenced by some of the 1960's baby-themed wallpapering I had to toil at getting rid of from the closet. She has given me essentially creative control over the upstairs duplex (within REASON, of course).
I scraped the original wallpapering off, painted (did I mention - painting - even with a roller - is extremely hard work - and doesn't look that great when I do it. So many drips!) and then applied some cute peel-and-stick wallpapering up top. Which proved to be much more time consuming and difficult than I thought it was going to be.
It turned out decently, but honestly, looks better from far away than up close. (Ha ha, just keeping it real).
What's nice is while taking all my of clothes in and out, I found about 10 pieces of clothing I no longer fit in, like, or need.
I also got the chance to do some cleaning and rearranging.
I am still working full time, but still have Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays to fill up with "indoor" anti-social projects. I think I will start looking into painting the bedroom. It is currently a baby blue color and would look much better as a tan. I also wouldn't mind replacing a WINDOW that leaks terribly, but that's kind of above my skill set.
Are you taking this opportunity to do any type of home improvement projects? Or what are you getting done?
Hope everyone remains healthy & safe.
I attached a photo - the ugly yellow on the left is the "before" and the cute flowers/navy is the after.

Its a huge improvement.
I am still going out to work, I hope that they make other arrangements for us for the coming weeks. Its getting very nerve-wracking, its impossible to practise the 6 metre social distancing when you share common areas such as washrooms and lunch rooms.

Hope you all good miss lady. So far not bad here other than feel lack of freedom and know better to challenge authority. We officially a police state again. but at least this one is for a good reason.

@maezee Hell no thank universe I am actually happy not near any major city, I will take responsibility for San Bernardino though. All my years how dangerous they say it is, not once have a met a person that truly scared me. I seen East St.Louis scare the hell out of me, San Berdo is just poor not bad at all. I even went to homeless park and homie said do not be scared.

No home improvement projects for me. I just spend my time watching Netflix and still working. But yes we have the community quarantine and everything is closed except for pharmacies, gas stations, banks, grocery stores. Our businesses are still open though and my employees are still working but we make sure they are protected.
