I hope everyone is doing well today.
So my Mom put on the Governor's press conference this morning. He didn't order a shelter in place, but he did order all non-essential businesses to close (which I thought was already going on, but apparently not), and if you're gathering in crowds, I think you can get in trouble. I mean, gathering in large crowds isn't just dangerous for you, but to others as well. The whole idea is to slow the spread of the virus. He also talked about how small businesses can get help. Honestly, it's a lot to remember. I'm tired, busy and not devoting this entire post on it, so I'd say to look up Maryland's current restrictions and this morning's press conference on a reliable website if you're interested.
As I said in my previous posts, I'm sticking to my routine as much as possible to keep a little normalcy, since I already work from home. Right now, I'm listening to a video of NKOTB's full show from last year's tour (including the other talent on the line-up), since it's been a while since I've played this particular video. My coffee is made, and I'm currently working on my first batch of work.
Oh yeah, I've decided to experiment and break my work up into batches to see how that goes. I did this a few weeks ago, and it sort of went well, so I want to try it again.
One of the last times I went to the store, I grabbed original coffee creamer (powdered), as they were out of flavored. It's okay, I like the original creamer, and it has less calories. I was thinking of switching back for a while anyway.
Oh, and shockingly, Mom's keychain arrived today. It's a little smaller than I thought it'd be, but I think she'll like it. She collects keychains and loves The Walking Dead, so it's perfect for her. She's not getting the candy if the kiddos don't have any by Easter (they're old enough to understand), but she'll get the keychain on Easter regardless.
Alrighty, I need to get my work done. I hope you're all doing well, and I'll be back shortly. Take care, everyone.

Sorry it's smaller than you thought it would be but glad it came in.
We have a stay at home advisory as of tomorrow at noon, which is basically no different than whats going on now besides the few places that stayed open by choice will now have to close

@tammys85 so many aren't taking it seriously and at this point I'm starting to hope they get it.

@Courtlynn Oh, I saw someone on Twitter, from MD, complaining because they wouldn't let her keep her bar/pub open St. Patrick's Day. Hello, WE DON'T WANT CROWDS RIGHT NOW. Some people put their own convenience and/or entertainment over the lives of others and I'm sick of it.

I think we're going to see more announcements from state governors as this virus keeps building.
That's great your mom's keychain came in the mail.
Breaking up your work in batches is a good thing. It won't feel so overwhelming.

Right, and I'll listen to them, just not overexposing myself to it. From what I can tell, our governor is really trying to keep people safe and flatten the curve, so that's good.
Thank you! I wasn't sure if it would or not, so it must've already been in the warehouse.
It didn't work this week, but that was on my end. I may try it again this week.
