I was putting the dishes in the dish rack away, and looked out the back window to see that both of the hummingbird feeders were empty.
So, I whipped up a quick batch of Hummingbird food. I decided to make this batch green, for Spring.
When this cools down, I'll put it in one of the feeders, then I'll probably make another batch for the second feeder. I don't know what color I'll make it--though I've been thinking about lavender/purple.
The humming birds could care less what color their food is--but it's fun to watch them come by and slurp it down !
(The photo on the right is one I took of a Hummingbird at the feeder from last year--the food just happened to be green !)
