Can you still be comfortable around people who have betrayed you?

Well, this question actually came to my mind while I was talking to one of my colleague who was once also my dear friend.
I have never faced situation like this before, but since we share same work space I am not left with much of the choice, except to accept the fact that he is going to be around and we need to talk regarding work.
Now, to be comfortable is a second question...... I wont be that much involved, my body language will be cold and I would just go with professional approach.
Have you ever faced something like this?
Can you talk to someone who has broken your trust?

To be comfortable on a personal level, I dont think so. Its hard to trust again someone who has betrayed you. But to deal with them on another level say work, then yes because I have to. I am professional. I wont mix feelings with work. Life just has to go on...

Well, I can still be civil with the person, but I will not trust him/her anymore.
