A year of Dinners: 3.29.2020: Also the return of Frugal Food! / myLot

We spent the majority of today at the creek, and I decided I wanted to do something a little bit different for dinner tonight. Pizza is a common thing around here, but I don't always do homemade. Well tonight that is different. I made a homemade pepperoni lovers pizza, and garlic bread. Well the garlic bread isn't in the oven yet. But the pizza is. If you've been following me for awhile, then you remember that I used to pretty regularly do Frugal food posts. I would like to get back to that. So I thought I would meld the two for tonight's dinner post. The pizza dough ingredients for the one pizza, cost me about $3 The mozzarella that I used for the pizza cost me about $3 the sauce was about $1.50 The pepperoni was about $2 And the garlic bread, which isn't homemade, was $2 So for dinner for all four of us cost about $11.50. Which is WAY cheaper than ordering pizza. I will also make peanut butter cookies later tonight, after I am sure that the kiddos have eaten dinner. What did you make for dinner tonight? Do you see how cheaply you can make dinner?

Um, did you know, Walmart got a 12" pizza frozen, for on Oahu, 2.78? I like it, and sale of thin crust pizza squares for $1 sometimes too. I know nothing beats homemade, but it's soooo cheap frozen.

My dinner this evening, probably leftovers of be beef light slices, sweet bread rolls with cheese and a piece of corn beef hash and some pork cutlet pieces. Got to finish my leftovers.
