I wonder who all The Walking Dead fans are here? I am a big fan ... at first when it came on some years ago ... my thoughts were ... I'm not interested in a zombie show at all. I don't like silly shows, especially not zombies. The truth is ... The Walking Dead isn't about zombies. It has a real story plot ... I love it. I love watching how people survive in an apocalypse ... you never know, we could live in one. I pray not. No, I don't mean walking dead people My favorite characters are the main characters from the beginning. I didn't like when Rick had to leave, nor when Carl died ... nor the red-headed guy when Negan used his bat. Oh ... I like Negan. I am watching The Talking Dead at the moment. They are doing it out of their homes because of social distancing/coronavirus pandemic. They are on their computers talking. I am looking forward to The World Beyond ... where the younger generation is in it. That comes on in April. I just remembered ... I also, like Fear The Walking Dead. If it was about silly zombies I couldn't watch it at all. Since it has a good story to it ... I love it! I'm one for serious shows ... not so much for comedy, nor horror-comedy. Who likes this as much as I do?

I haven't watched TWD since season five! I guess I have lots of time to catch up, if I could find them...

@GrannyGee true. Sometimes it's sad though to see some characters die... But that's a fact of life...

@jrlcentral Oh yes, it is sad to see some characters die ... because you get so used to them. I know I am the same way.

I have seen every episode except tonight's which I recorded. The show was never about walkers but about people and how people are the real enemy not the walkers.

You are so right. Many people mistakenly think it's all about the walkers, zombies ... whatever they want to call them. The story is what's important. The walkers are there ... dangerous, sure ... but there because in the show ... they've become a part of life.

Actually, by watching any Zombie Apocalypse movies and series, I realized the following: 1. The situation we are having today is meek compared to their zombie infested universe. 2. I know it's a fictional universe, but at least it gives an assurance that mankind survives. 3. We never needed to fight Zombies to survive, all we need is to stay indoors and binge watch Netflix to avoid the spread of the virus. Somehow, watching these stuffs give me a strange feeling of assurance that all will pass.

I can understand what you are saying. I think that's why I watch it ... it makes one realize there is hope, not only that ... we are all in this world together. Love, caring even at a distance makes hope possible for the future. I am seeing that here in our country where everyone has to stay a safe distance from each other. Yet ... it's pulling people together. Without each other ... I don't think anyone would survive.

@GrannyGee Agree! As a friend said, if anything has a purpose, then this plagued is bringing out the humanity within us. We are more united than ever, and we are learning to appreciate things in life. I'm seeing people from churches to private companies doing their part to help the doctors and nurses working to stop the virus.

@Mamerto32 It is the same way here. So many people are focusing on helping others now. It's like the world has come to a complete stop ... people are putting priorities in order ... that's people, caring and loving.
