Somebody was coughing in the street.

When I went shopping this morning it was all very quiet with only a few people around and they were all keeping their distance. That is until a young man walked out of a doorway and he was coughing really badly. Then he got into a car , but as he opened the car door he turned his head around and spat on the floor. This is disgusting at anytime but it is even worse now. Luckily I was some distance away from him.

I am afraid they do, it is not unusual to see and hear people spitting in the street. But I should have thought it would have been banned by now.

I heard that in Ireland, some young people have been behaving badly. They cough and spit on seniors + police as a dare. They have friends around to video record such things to show off later.
