Will staying at home stop this new virus?

I wonder if the virus will be stopped if we stay at home. I think it will not stop, but it will slow down. I wonder how long can people stay at home. We already stayed at home for almost a month. For me this is not a problem. Do you think that staying at home will stop this virus?

I hope that this will stop. Some people said that it will last until summer comes.

@dya80dya It will be good if the virus stops this summer. How many cases are there?

It's not really intended to stop it, but to slow the spread down to reduce the strain on the healthcare system.

@dya80dya At this point, it's inevitable that anyone who can catch it, will. The key is to drag it out for long enough that we don't all catch it at the same time and that we could have a viable vaccine.

If this virus will not stop I think we all can be infected in the future.

@egdcltd Yes. At least we try to not be sick at the same time. That would be scary for the health system.

Yes for me it will if I have no contact with another person then the virus will not touch me. If I touch something that the virus lives on, then it could be transferred to me.

It will only help keeping it from spreading. That’s good enough for now.

I do not believe it was ever intended to stop the virus, but to slow down the growth in cases so that the medical people could keep ahead of new cases. Not sure how that is working out either, especially when one looks at New York.

It's scary to know that in the future we will have this virus. I don't think that it can be stopped. I don't think this will work out. Italy still has many cases and people stay at home.

It will work if we follow it to the letter like what the Chinese did, problem is a lot of us had been so used to freedom and our rights, people in the free world is not afraid of their government nor those enforcing a total lockdown. ( These are just my personal opinion)

People go everywhere. They don't care about this virus. But here more and more people stay at home.
