Well, here anyway.
I went to Seneca Park today to get some exercise. Normally the park, on a beautiful spring day such as today, would have been overflowing with people.
Nope, not today.
And the people who were there were actually doing what the “experts” have told us to do. Normally on a walk around the 1.2-mile path I would pass what looked like a couple of football teams coming at me. Today, people were walking in massive groups of one or two. (Three if you count the baby in the stroller.)
In neighboring Cherokee Park I saw people talking to each other....from across the road!
It was nice to see people enjoying themselves. It was even nicer to see them paying attention!

We are not under a mandatory curfew in my state. Additionally, we are allowed (even the states who ARE under mandatory curfew) to go out for things such as food and exercise.

@mrki444 — yes, the playground equipment is closed. There are tennis courts and baseball diamonds at this park, and they are closed as well. (Baseball I can understand, but superficially I don’t understand a one-on-one sport like tennis....till I saw 15 or 16 people on one tennis court when I drove by one day....)

I'm glad to hear that people are practicing social distancing...and I'm glad you were able to get out in the fresh air.

We aren’t under a mandatory stay-at-home order in Kentucky thus far (although we’re on a travel restriction to other states, because our cases are a fraction of those in Indiana or Tennessee [we’re not even at the 1,000 mark of positives yet, thank God!]). With really good weather expected this weekend, the parks might end up closed, Louisville’s mayor warned, if they get too crowded.

As long as people pay attention, everything will be fine.
