I do not thing any parents should discriminate between the daughter and the son. The child boy or girl deserves all the love and affection of the parents unbiased. The parents should be sincere to this effect. Otherwise, at any stage, the child comes to know that she/he is not liked by the parent, the child undergoes so much turmoil in its mind, it may lead to serious psychological problems.

why? any gender issues? Parents always luv their kids.

daughter is gift from god born to help their parents in any way while the son is the resposibility give from god to enable him to help his parents

I HAVE SEVEN KIDS AND I LOVE EVERY ONE OF THEM EQUALLY. 5 OF THEM DO NOT LIVE WITH ME FOR VARIOUS REASONS. I LOVE EACH OF THEM IN A DIFFERENT WAY BUT NONE MORE THAN ANY OTHER. WE TEND TO SAY FAVORITE BECAUSE WE GET ALONG BETTER WITH ONE THAN ANY OTHER OR THEY BEHAVE BETTER, BUT WE SHOULD RECOGNIZE THIS FOR WHAT IT IS. IT IS NOT MORE LOVE, JUST DIFFERENT LOVE.

Yes I love my son and daughter. That doesn't mean they are perfect by any means. But when they have had problems in their lives, they took responsibility for the problems and worked through them. To me, taking responsibility for the things you have done in your life, both right and wrong is the strongest characterist a person can have. Both my children are adults, and I am very proud of them and will always support them when they come to me.
