My Poor Kindle

I have fallen in love with my Kindle Fire 10 since the beginning of the year. My husband bought it for me the year before last I think and I didn't use it much. I used it for Passionflix but then it stopped working. The final straw was watching my husband carry and pack three bags of books for me to go to Maryland last year. All because having them was comforting to me even though I knew I wouldn't even read one of the books that were packed. I promised him that I would slowly get my library on the Kindle. Not to get rid of what I have but so that when we traveled, he wouldn't have to carry so many books for me. I felt bad because he never, not once complained about the bags. He was absolutely amazing about it. Now, I've come to absolutely love the thing. It has given me the ability to read while he sleeps, read in the living room during a show without my mother complaining about the light, read without using my hands and other things. As of Tuesday though, my kindle died (I'm guessing) and we haven't been able to turn it on since. I'm extremely upset about this because one, I love my kindle lol and two I can't afford to replace it. When he bought it for me, it was an impulse buy that he doesn't regret. Now I'm trying to figure out what to do. I think I'm going to replace the power cord first. That's only $10. I say only but that's ten I could use somewhere else right now. It's funny how money looks different when none is coming in lol. Does anyone else use an e-reader? Are you attached to it like I am? *picture from google
