"Fortunately, the temperatures in Fort Lauderdale hovers in the high 70s and low 80s in March while April is all sunny skies and beautiful temperatures in the 80s." tripsavvy.com
Don't believe everything you read on the Internet! Since March 2 most of the day temperatures if not 90 or above it was either 88 or 89 degrees! And today we broke a record in Fort Lauderdale going over 94 degrees!
But wait! We are going to have a 'cold wave' hit us this holiday weekend with rain and 2 days in the mid and high 80s only to return to the 90s for 3 days!!
Looks like Memphis and the mid-south will have a sloppy, stormy Easter Sunday while we will be enjoying Spring and/or Summer!

@db20747 All you need is a swimming suit--or not!! That's why so many people come here---no winter clothes--shorts, a top and flip-flops---that's it!

It's been pretty hot here in north Florida too. We don't get the nice sea breeze you get down in Ft. Lauderdale, so at least you got that going for you!

@GreatMartin I can't stand the heat. Here in north central Florid, the heat and humidity is stifling. It can sometimes be difficult to breathe when you're outside, with the stagnant hot air. I didn't mind the heat outdoors when I lived in Boynton Beach, because I was near the ocean and could enjoy the fresh ocean breeze even on a hot day.

Here lesser pollution has meant that we "might" have more manageable summers. But we are not so sure. We still have not started our ACs but looks like we would have to do so in a few days.
And with lockdown, forget about the AC servicing.

@GreatMartin Believe me I have tried. He is too afraid of gators and snakes. Plus he doesn't like the humidity.

Weather has sort of become meaningless since we all stuck inside.
