There's really one thing that is bothering me and I would like to hear what other people think. When the virus is finally been slowed down what's gonna happen to the economies of thew each country? Will there be jobs for people to get back to? Will there be enough money to help the less fortunate? It's a thought that on my mind and it really worries me that will we be able to have things back to the way they where?

Things will never ever be the same again. Economies will shrink, but will be rebuilt. There will be jobs, maybe not as many as many businesses may never re-open.

@agwira18 Its a great idea people starting their own businesses. But given such a small percentage of these actually survive 12 months, And there wont be much money around when the virus goes away, Very few might actually take the risk.

I think what could really help is that people would start their own businesses once businesses up and running then they'll be able to hire more people cuz I don't think government will cope and big business is going to be looking out for their own back

I wouldn't guess things will be the same. Perhaps people will care more and it will cause us to be more compassionate or just the opposite. Technically we all play a part.

You right they will be a serious Dent in the economy and a serious challenge with both big businesses and small businesses but what really matters is how we recover and what we do in order to walk towards the point of recovery

Everything will open little by little with social distancing and more sanitizing. Some people will continue working from home while others will return slowly to work. I’m hoping the economy will continue to grow little by little.

The world is never going to go back to where it first was and that is terrifying for many people because change is not something that is comfortable for anyone. I do hope that people will be more giving and understanding. I hope that people who do finally get to go to work will not be pressured to work at the office all the time and will be able to do their work at home when possible. It is going to be a crazy time trying to go back to "normal" because normal is not what we will know.

I just pray and hope that there will be jobs and businesses to go back to for all those that will be able to recover. I totally agree with you on the fact that being flexible should be the the new norm.

It's certainly worrying because it's going to take months, years even, for world economies to recover. I heard one expert saying it will take at least 2 years for the tourism sector to recover. A very scary prospect for countries which rely heavily on tourism - countries such as mine :(

This is likely to continue for quite some time I am afraid that things will take a very long time to get back to how they were if ever they do. One thing from all of this I hope it is a good opportunity for people to be grateful for what they have. To stop being selfish and materialistic and take a hard long look at what the real important things are for example family, loved ones and friends. Rather than the best of this and the best of that. I feel so sorry for those who have not had the opportunity to say good bye to their loved ones!

I don't think anything will truly be back to what it was. However, governments are helping people restart their lives by giving them money in this time of need.
