Gratitude goes to the Taxpayers...

I'm so feed up with posts passing at my FB wall regarding this relief effort of our local government unit. It's like we owe them a lot with their effort of providing the needs of the people. Yes, I don't see problem about the effort but what pissed me off when an official post at the public page thanking the politician officials for the volumes of rice delivered in the community. For the first time, they heard me comment. I think the taxpayers deserves the gratitude and not just single out the public officials. It's peoples money and not only them.

In the first place, we do not owe them the effort. The money use is from the people and they are paid for their services.

and hopefully the taxpayer can also get some of those assistance as well, since you know, it's our hard earn money.

Yes The tax payers should be shown gratitude more so when they are donating more from their pocket money too.
