One of Carrie Ann Ryan's first series was Dante's Circle. It was also the first series that I read by her last year and I read it again this year in anticipation for her new book, Dante's Circle Reborn.
In Dante's Circle Reborn we re-visit some of our beloved characters that seemed to be in the background of the series. Though they were in the background, it didn't mean that we didn't notice those characters or feel like they needed to be elaborated on.
This book does that. I love that Alec and Liam got their HEA and that was the story that I was waiting for the most.
There are four stories in here with four of the background characters that we love.
Alec and Liam from An Unlucky Moon, Jonah from Prowled Darkness, Calypso from An Immortal's Song and one of our favorite characters that we thought we lost in Tangled Innocence, Torrent.
All get their very own HEA but what I absolutely love about this book is that it feels like it's only a taste of what's to come. Like she could reopen the world again completely with the kids or a bigger story. I don't know but diving into this novel makes me want more.
You don't have to read the whole series before you read this one but I would most definitely recommend it. I think that you will enjoy this book more with the complete background and story arc.
