Remember polio? Major epidemics and pandemics happen frequently

I was watching a pbs documentary on polio. It was a lot like what’s going on now. People were scared to go outside, they stayed in their homes. They would constantly spray the streets with pesticides. A lot like what is happening now.

Yes, but we cured polio. It took about 12 years.
