Changing My Plans and Other Thoughts.

So, I'm not going to get around to proofreading tonight. My focus is just elsewhere, so I'm behind on this smaller project. Once I'm finished with this order, I have two more 300-word orders, and then I need to proofread all five orders and submit them. It's already 6pm. I really don't want to spend my entire night proofreading. If I do that, I'm going to be just as unfocused tomorrow when I proofread the rest of the batch. Like, my brain needs a break in between everything. I'll just make tomorrow a proofreading day. I don't have any other plans, so at least I won't be bored lol. However, I'm at least going to run those orders through the spell/grammar checker tonight. It'll only take a few minutes to do that with each one, and then I'll actually proofread them tomorrow. I proofread through things twice; the first time slowly to make sure I didn't miss anything, and the second time faster to make sure it flows well. I have one 2,000-word order and eight 1,000-word orders, see why I'd rather wait until tomorrow lol? In other news, I'm STILL waiting on my denim jacket. It's still due to be delivered today, but I don't know how many stops the FedEx driver has before they get to my place. According to the tracking information, it's on the way. I just wish it would be updated. I mean, it's almost 7pm and FedEx stops delivering at 8pm, so I'm thinking it's going to come tomorrow. I guess we'll see what happens. Blue Bloods is a repeat tonight, but Donnie Wahlberg stated on his social media that he's going to tweet with us anyway. Aww. :) My head hurts a little, which is another reason I'm going to just stick with the Fiverr orders I'm submitting tonight. Alright, I've lost my train of thought on this post several times, so I'm going to wrap it up. Take care, everyone, and I'll be back later. :) Photo Credit: Pixabay.

It's always best to wait to proofread once you finish your work. A clear head is needed. I hope the jacket arrived.

Thank you. I shouldn't have proofread ALL of them in one day. That was not enjoyable. But you're right, a clear head is definitely needed. And it arrived last weekend, thank you.

@just4him That's understandable. I've done that with proofreading. Thank you. :)

@tammys85 I always let my work sit for a little while before I get back to it. That's when I see all the flaws. I'm glad it did.

It is best to keep busy and I hope you feel better soon. I know you explained once about Fiverr and I keep an active bid on there but no one seems to mind or care and then Fiverr again asks me if I want to keep active. that is one site I don't understand on all the rest I just put in bids for writing jobs and hope for the best.

Thank you. What do you mean by a bid?

@RasmaSandra Ooh gotcha. I've never really bid on the job, I just let the clients find me, so I was a little confused at first. Thanks for explaining. :) I do hope things get better for you on there.

@tammys85 I look at job offers and then chose one. I am asked to bid for the job and I do. I add the reason why I would be a good choice, add some writing samples, and about what I expect for one milestone.

Eh, it's been up and down between Fiverr and Textbroker, as some clients have disappeared.
