I Hope These Protesters Know Trump Doesn't CARE if They Die!

You may have seen or heard about the various protests held in several states a few days ago regarding the "stay-at-home" orders with more to come reportedly. In at least one instance they blocked the streets, holding up traffic, including ambulances and health care workers on their way to save lives. These protesters included many Trump supporters, as indicated by their signs, flags and apparel.
I have to admit I'm not exactly enjoying being stuck at home with nowhere to go and nothing to do anymore than anyone else is. I'm retired but I feel sorry for those who are losing money, especially those with small businesses such as our local bars and restaurants. I know those who are working for someone else are also having a tough time of it, especially as they wait for their stimulus check if they've yet to receive it and their unemployment checks but they at least know they're going to have something coming in and I'd assume most of them will have a job to go back to. Still, I know it's hard and I feel for all of them...
Especially the sick and the families of the deceased, both of which there will likely be many more following the protests I mentioned above. They were out in fairly large numbers protesting the shelter-in-place order so obviously they weren't following that guideline, nor were they following the social distancing or the face mask guidelines. When you get a large group of people together during a global pandemic, it's pretty much guaranteed that some of them are already infected even if they're asymptomatic and that therefore a much larger number of them will contract it and in turn take it home...and anywhere else they go that they're not supposed to go...and give it to others. Maybe an elderly parent or grandparent. Maybe a child. Maybe a loved one with an underlying health issue.
MAYBE we'd expect the POTUS these people had voted for and were still supporting would want to advise them to take care of themselves, right? Sorry. “They seem to be protesters that like me" was what Trump said when asked about these protests.
I guess I'm not surprised that Trump doesn't care about the health or the lives of others but what does kind of surprise me is that he doesn't seem to care about possibly losing all those votes...

@Susan2015 I don't agree with wishing it on anyone even trumpkin (cause of his tan being so orange
) he did deny it was a big deal which is negligence... Perhaps if he listened to experts there wouldn't have been so much spread...

@tallawah PLEASE don't judge all of us based on what's actually a relatively small minority of Americans.Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by near 3 million votes and overall over 10 million more voters voted against Trump than voted for him.
What makes me the maddest is the highest number is the non-voters.

Day 43 National Shutdown. They look pretty strong and resilient to me. God forbid. Let us pray and look to God for the whole world's healing and for better days with LIFE ahead.

I'm not sure if I'm reading you correctly but if you're referring to the protesters looking strong and resilient that may be true but it doesn't mean they won't become infected or they're not already carrying the virus but are asymptomatic. When you throw 100 or more people together MUCH closer than 6 feet apart the odds are that some of them are carrying the Coronavirus and therefore many more will be taking it back to their less strong and resilient loved ones.

I completely agree with you. Due to lock down lost of loss their earnings it's very hard to survive. But if you don't follow stay at home guidelines you must be attact by Corona so hear is a chance to die ,one more thing is not only your life only bit also loss do many lives surrounding you.
Hear life is most important than earnings. But it is not do easy. There is a solution for earnings in online. Now it time to focus on it.
Hear we don't earn more but little bit earnings is possible...
