Wow, am I getting dizzy from going around the sun! 
Maybe I should stand up and take a deep breath. That means another song with “stand” in the title. John said yesterday he was intrigued by the fact that R.E.M. was so “low” in the countdown. This might clear things up a little.

Well, I have used this song, and this band, a time or two. “The only band that matters” lived up to their hype, and then some. They closed out the 70s with one of the best albums of the entire decade. (Yeah, JJ, I know....)
This song closed out the album, not even listed on the album or record label. It became The Clash’s first US hit.
Over 40 years later, it’s still on my 100 favorites list.
