Well, at least I'm giving up sugar for my coffee that is. I switched from refined to brown sugar before. But I think, I'm still consuming a lot of sugar since I drink 4-5 mugs of coffee every day. So instead of putting creamer and sugar, I'm skipping the sweetener. Sometimes I just suddenly aware of what I've been doing and realize that I need to stop doing it all the time. Although it's almost impossible to ditch sugar totally since most of the foods around contains it. At least I am reducing it. How about you? Any self-realization these past few days?

If people can't give up sugar they should at least find a way to burn it. Sugar is energy, problem is when people consume a lot of it including carbohydrates then sleep the whole day or remain idle.

I'm cutting back quite a bit on food. No snacking at all except an occasional rice cake.

My self-realization is to work harder. I need to slow down eating lately. I am gaining weight because of this lockdown.

Wow! That's great progress! I found out that when we put additives in coffee, were missing the it's health benefits. Plus I need to be careful with my sugar consumption since diabetes is in my genes.

@cherriefic Yes, sugar is no good for anyone. Besides diabetes, it can cause cancer and heart disease. It took me less than a week to do that just adding less and less every day.

@DianneN True. It's not as hard as I thought it to be. They also say that it can cause premature wrinkles. But I'm doing it to be healthier.

Good luck. I've always drank my coffee black so this is no problem for me. Any self-realization these past few days? We deserve a better government than what we have now.

Maybe you just need to indulge in that while you can.
