Sardines Fritters

So, here’s what I’ve made with the sardines in tomato sauce and chili that our local government gave us just the other day. It’s called sardines fritters! It’s just a simple dish. I’ve added some vegetables to make it healthier.

In our case we will just add raw red onions to the sardines and we are all set. And yes, we eat the raw onions too hehe.

@freelancermariagrace yes. The tomato sauce overpowers the onion scent. The putrid onion taste basically disappeared.

a neighbor shared with us what he cooked. when i asked what's in the bowl, he said, "what else but the national viand (pambansang ulam)!" i laughed and knew he meant sardines (from relief goods)
