Importance of perspective?

I think a human being can only see things as they want them to be. When we take an egg and ask creatures who see from different views what it is
Cow- useless object
Hen- the future
Human being- food
So its important to have a perspective that will work best for the better of your life
But the question is How can you change your perspective?

After reading this discussion, I don't really know how a person could change his or her perspective. 'Cause I agree, people see things on what they want to see them. Maybe that's why we must always ask about the perspective of others and not to trust only in our perspective. 'Cause our perspective is not always right, we must compare things to come up to the right one.

i think that you can't actually change your perspective, but what you can do is consider other options, other perspectives and that maybe yours isn't the best one. that's my opinion

This is a good way to look at things, I like the description of how an egg could be seen by different species.

Changing ones perspective is very difficult. This is something shaped in so many years in the background a person lives. Every person has got his or her own view point and it’s difficult to change.
But i think once a person fall in love, alot can be changed as per the choice of the partner . LOL
