I am so upset. A person has been impersonating me on Facebook. The person is sending out friend requests, comments, messenger, etc. I just want to cry. I have deactivated my Facebook account, but takes 30 days to be completely deactivated. Kindly say a prayer for me. God knows what else this "person" has done.

@Spontaneo Thats because they made a new account using your photos and looking at your friends list to get the names. It has happened to a couple of people I know. FB will usually take them down if you report the account. You dont need to send friend requests to those you are already friends with That is a warning sign of what is happening. I always message friends on the account I already have for them when I get those types of friend requests. If they say they havent opened a new account I report it to fb.

I am concerned that the person might get too close for comfort, but thank you.

That is so mean (whoever it is that hacked your FB account). I got hacked once, but that time, all my friends were sent an email asking them to buy viagra products. (I didn't know until my friends' accounts were hacked too, and I in turn, got similar emails offering me viagra products.)

Unfortunately there is a lot of this about, I often get friend requests from people I know I am already friends with and when I check out the page it is easy to see that it is a brand new page and I just contact my friends and tell them what is happening. They usually send out a message to their friends to warn them what is going on.
