I saw the news today about the Social Amelioration Program. It's the cash assistance for people who needs it the most during this pandemic. They are starting to provide it in some areas. That's good news...or not. One of the qualified persons to receive it got her 5,000 Php. It's a small amount but it can help a lot. By the way, she's a solo parent and that makes her eligible for this program. She got the money, have her picture and video holding the money, and went straight to the grocery to buy food supplies. However, before she gets home one of the officials who gave her the cash assistance asked her to give the money back. She's cried since she already used it to buy some food for herself and kids. They forced her to give it back or she will face the consequences. The poor Mom borrowed some funds so that she can give the money back to them. Now she's in debt and she's jobless because of the quarantine. How can they do this? Those people are greedy and don't even care about their people's welfare! So the pictures and video are just for show so that they have proof that she already receive the money? I hope that those people will have their karma soon enough.

Too bad, Those kind of politicians who are really corrupt don't deserve to be on their position again on the next election. They are just a burden to the community. I really feel sorry for the people who were abused and not being able to get what is suppose to be for them as a support the government.

Yeah! It makes me so angry when I heard about it. The video is on YouTube. I hope whoever those politicians are, they should go to jail for this.

They didn't even tell her the reason. But for sure, they want to just keep it for themselves.

I hope so. The President already warned that if there's a report like this, they will go to jail.

Some governments are like that. They give, then they say, 'oops, please return or you will be in big problem...'

I think that's just "show money" that was given to her.
