"The Commonwealth of Massachusetts declared April 24, 1989, "New Kids on the Block Day"." --- From Google.
And yes, their fans (including me) still celebrate it. :) Hey, it's not hurting anyone, so why not? So of course I'm wearing my NKOTB shirt, and I'll listen to their music later.
This was also supposed to be the week the NKOTB Cruise set sail, but unfortunately, it was canceled due to the Coronavirus. Instead, the guys and their manager is hosting a virtual cruise, with virtual events, all weekend. I'll post a link to the NKOTB Virtual Cruise schedule at the end of this post. It's up to you guys if you want to look at it or not.
At midnight last night (into today), they released their new single and music video "House Party" with guests such as Boyz II Men and Jordin Sparks. Yes, they all recorded their parts from their own home. They were also on Good Morning America this morning via video chat at 8:30am, which I got up to watch of course. I would've been up anyway, as that's when the dogs usually want to go outside. I watched some of their 5pm stream, and I'm also getting ready to watch them on Entertainment Tonight.
I did skip a few of the virtual events, but I'll go back to them later if need be (and if possible). Of course, I'm doing a few of them this weekend as well. Sooo, it should be a fun weekend. I love that my boys are bringing the excitement even in the midst of crazy times.
Alrighty, I need to wrap this up because I'm trying to multitask. I still have work to do. Take care and stay safe, everyone! :)
