I miss my church!

One thing I like about not going out is, well, not having to get up early. I'm in the church choir and have to leave the house at 7:15 on a normal Sunday. The other days, when we had school in our school buildings, I had to leave the house at 7:00. Nowadays I wake up about 7:00 but go to bed at the same time.
In spite of the good things, I really miss being together, singing hymns, taking communion. I can sing hymns by myself but it just isn't the same.
On the advantage side, I can "attend" any church I please, virtually. I have "attended" a church pastored by a friend from college, my home church in the States, listened to my college roommate's organ preludes and postludes, and listened to Scripture reading and sermon from my current church.
I'm beginning to think it would be advantageous to develop a contemplative prayer habit... something I have wanted to do for years, I guess now is the time.
If you go to a house of worship (any faith), how are you participating now?

We go to a very small country church. Last week we had our first drive in service with about 12 cars and a preacher on a loud speaker. I miss the fellowship, too.

Wow, I never heard of that. I guess because churches don't have parking lots in Japan, or at least not big enough, plus a lot of people don't drive. I'm glad you can at least wave to each other in cars though! (My friend in Oregon calls their car the "escape pod".)

@petatonicsca That's funny. We only have services twice a month, so the other Sundays my husband and I watch a service on TV.
