Do the Cowboys Really Back Dak?

All year, everyone has been talking about Dak Prescott.
Elliot got paid after his hold out. Amari Copper got paid and I don't think he held out at all. The last main player everyone focused on was Prescott. Was the young QB going to get paid and a new contract.
Jones, owner of the Cowboys, always backs his players no matter what. That's what he's best at...standing in their corner even when they're in the wrong. Everyone who knows me also knows that I have absolutely no love for Elliot.
However, I actually liked Dak. I thought that he was a pretty down to Earth guy.
Now, with the Cowboys taking a new QB, does that mean that Dak may not be part of the Cowboys future?
I know that teams pick QB's to sit as back ups and train them but with the discord that we've seen, will the new QB really be back up or will we see a fight for the starting position?
What do you think Cowboy's fans?
