Hello ! Well, earlier today I took Angel for a morning walk, and my back started killing me. When I got home, there was a message on the phone from my bro's gf. She said she and my nephew were thinking of going to Subway to pick up sandwiches and we'd eat here at the house. I called her back and said that would be fine, but due to my back hurting would it be okay if my nephew and I stayed here and played a game instead of taking Angel for a walk. My brother's gf said that my nephew got a big smile and his eyes got really big when I said that (she had speaker phone on in her car) so that was okay. Later, she called from Subway to ask what I wanted/didn't want on my sandwich, then called back a couple of times more because she wanted to know what kind of chips I wanted and then again to see what I wanted to drink. We went out in the backyard to eat when she got there, and when he was done eating my nephew Frankie entertained himself by doing "parkour" as he called it off of the bench partway around the deck and tucking and rolling when he hit the grass. When we went inside, bro's gf offered to organize the living room, and I let her Most of the stuff that was here and there is now in a box or stacked neatly. I have to go through one box full of papers to see if I can throw them away or file them or whatever. She did that while my nephew and I played a few board games. While we were out having lunch, she offered to come by one day this week and weed whack the backyard. I seriously need to find something I can do for her. Now, it's just me and Angel again. I took her for our short afternoon walk, and now I can sit again. When my brother's girlfriend came over, I mentioned that I hadn't seen the chiropractor in some time, and no one could get into the Health Center. She said I should try to make an appointment anyway, and I plan on it, as I haven't seen him in a long time and my back is just getting worse. I may have to wear a mask or something if I'm able to go, but that's fine. I hope that you have had a good day/evening/etc. so far in your part of myLot land !
