I do all the electric fan cleaning in the house, I disassemble, oil the bushings and wash the blade, grill and cover. Sometimes wife helps with the washing part.

You seem expert. Father just brush all the dirt that accumulates. I don't know if he knows the bushing and putting oil

@averygirl72 it's not completely clean if you just clean the outside, you can open the back cover using a screw drive then brush the motor with a small paint brush. Dismantle the front by unscrewing the blade lock and grill lock and unscrewing the front cover. Your fans will have better efficiency if you learn to do this instead of just cleaning the external parts.
