My niece didn't show up, so I had my friend's dog precede me down the aisle.

My destination wedding was one of the record books. It wasn't a beach, or the mountains, or on some forgotten island out in the middle of the Atlantic. No, I chose to get married at my nearly deserted mall.
What can I say? I've been lonely, and I was ready to take that next step (*cough* again *cough*) in life. The man I chose was handsome, though that's about all I knew about him. We met inside a store that was a hybrid between Spencer's and The Disney Store.
He had tattoos and a nose ring, and I had red hair.
Anyway, my best friend went to go register our names with the officiant, while my bethrothed and I created a gift registry. Our choices were stuffed animals and keychains, and yes we did argue over which we liked best. This marriage was obviously already off to a great start.
The bestie came back and escorted us towards where the officiant was waiting. I looked everywhere for my niece who was going to be the flower girl, but she never showed. My best friend's husband saved the day, however, when he agreed to be the flower girl.
That only left someone to walk me down the aisle, and who should save the day but Zeus, my fur-nephew.
Yep, he did the honors of walking alongside me. We make it down the aisle only to have something else throw a wrench in our plans. It seems my friend accidentally wrote her name as the grooms, and the officiant refused to marry anyone except the two names on the document.
So we got married, what? The wedding was expensive!
And then I woke up... But of course you knew that, right?
Actually, there were some other details I didn't put in because wow was that a long dream!

Haha, nope, my actual wedding was western themed. We had hats and horse shoes on the tables. I didn't even wear a dress.

@LindaOHio I suppose. When I was doing research and buying for it, I found out that it wasn't as unique as I had first thought.

Thank You!
In all actuality, my best friend's husband (my brother in law as I call him) would have happily filled the role of flower girl in real life!

Some dreams feel so real and when you wake up during the dream is when we can remember most of it or all of it.

I hate when I wake up during a really good one, as it's not easy for me to remember them that way. Especially if I am getting up to relieve my bladder.

@Ladanger Nope, don't know the guy in real life, but I guess he was supposed to be a mix of several people I *do* know.

@ScribbledAdNauseum did you enjoy this dream? Do you know the guy from your dream in real life? I understand

From what I understand, you dream just before waking up. If you wake up fast, it's likely you don't recall them.

You do have some skills to remember the dreams in proper detail

Thank You. It's all about waking up slow, getting proper sleep, and having the dream on your mind first thing.

Yeah, I was glad to wake up. Especially as we seemed to get lost just trying to make it to the court house.
