Home made Chicken and Leek pie.... delicious

Tonight we had Chicken and Leek pie for our evening meal.
I can not take the credit for it as it was made by my Mum.
It was so yummy ....I am lucky in that I come from a long line of great cooks and everything my Mum makes is always delicious.
What is you favourite pie ?
Do you make your own or buy them from the supermarket ?

Ooh, that sounds really good. I love leeks, but we only really use them in potato leek soup.I think I'm going to have to give one of the chicken and leek pie recipes out there a shot soon.
My go-to tends to be a chicken pot pie I found on Allrecipes several years ago.

no peas, carrots or celery in ours ...but we did have mushrooms.
