Why I can SMELL... / myLot

..,.her perfume? I went out to buy in the public market. While I am waking on the sidewalk, there is a young woman at my back. I tried my best to do social distancing, but I can smell her perfume. I got paranoid and walk fast to have at least 1 meter apart.

Now, I am using a blue face mask. It is a disposable one. Do you sometimes feel paranoid? Which do you prefer a disposable or a washable face mask?

The washable face masks are useless in my opinion. Actually I have worn my masks for several days already. I think it is a big waste to dispose it after using it once only

I don't often go out and I seldom take public traffic. I only wear my mask when I go to work and I spend less 15 minutes on the way by bike. So I don't think I need to change my mask so often.

@Shavkat Yes, we are already back to work for some time. But I am still very careful to it and do precautions well.

@youless I can tell that some of my Chinese students online are still worried. They don't want to travel out of their cities.

I agree with you. Since I am in the medical field, it's ideal to use disposable face masks. But then, the stocks are limited, so we need to use the washable face masks. Honestly, I still discarded it after going out. I heard that most of the people in your country had started to work now.

@Shavkat I have asked people to move farther back from me when we are standing in a line some will understand and others will not care. I see you have a different mask than the black one that is in your profile picture. I feel uneasy when I go out because people do not care and so I have to distance myself from them. I wear gloves and a mask and hand wash them all the time.

Whenever I go out, I tend to buy new face masks, either washable or not. I am not comfortable re-using them.
