Watching Rurouni Kenshin Part 1

I love watching the anime Samurai-X when it came out sometime in the early 2000s. So when they made a live-action movie adaptation, I was excited about it.
It was one of the best live-action movie adaptation from an anime.
One thing I love about Rurouni Kenshin is its storyline which was based on Japanese History.
The story is set in the 11th year of the Meiji Era in the 19th Century. The time when the hero, a former assassin for the government tries to live a new life after 10 years of wandering. He now wields an unusual reverse-edge sword.
The first part of the trilogy tells how this wandering swordsman- with a particular x-shaped scar on his face- starts his adventure.

The anime series version is quite fun to watch... it's more comical sometimes. The OVA release on the other hand is quite more serious..
