South America

Last year we took a cruise from Bueones Aires, Argentina below Cape Horn to Santiago, Chile. As we traveled from stop to stop, we began to get a feeling of the places that we visited. This feeling was that South America was not greatly concerned about what was going on in the rest of the world, before COVID-19. We found this a refreshing idea, and hoped that we were right in our perception.

@maximax8 There are so many beautiful places in the world and if someone told me you have everything paid for where would like you to travel, I wouldn't know exactly, I would have to think

@LowRiderX I agree that there are so many beautiful. Sometimes it is possible to travel overland and see lots more on a trip that just one area or particular country. South America is huge. To travel from Argentina to Chile took one night and one day. If I was given a free trip I would choose Madagascar. I went to Serbia in 2013.

People are getting sick in South America. The sorrows of the world have reached them. I saw a video of people praying in the streets in Brazil. They are scared of the virus.

@JWMILLER I am really angry about the virus. It has disrupted my life. There are masks, social distancing, cancellation of a lot of stuff, fights in stores over masks and standing in line. I hate it.

That sounds like a lovely cruise. I went to Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Uruguay in 2012.

Sounds like a great trip. They are battling COVID-19 too I'm sure by now.
