What Quarantine is Teaching Me

Become aware of who you truly are
May 4, 2020 7:37am CST
Being forced to stay at home has taught me invaluable lessons. I am learning loving yourself is taking care of your soul through meditation. Taking care of your body through exercise and eating healthy and being in alignment with your consciousness. Recently, I bought a humidifier, and I have been doing one hour of mediating with different essential oils. For instance, lavender raises my vibrations and puts me in a very peaceful state, while sage calms me down. I am learning to observe my thoughts and not to react to them. To watch them as they come and go because they are just that, thoughts. I have started walking. I will pick it up to jogging with time, but for now, 16km per day brisk walking makes me feel rejuvenated.

It is absolutely possible, start by downloading a step counter and then keep walking in the house and watch it count your steps it gets exciting when you set small walking goals and you conquer them. it prompts you to set even bigger goals, Rome was not built in a day, good luck dear.

@Ongoluwa No thanks. Honestly I get enough activity working. 16 km is like 10 miles. That would take me 4 hours

That was me a couple of months ago. Try putting music and then sit with your legs crisscrossed it should keep you awake. secondly do not mediate in the bedroom or on your bed it will make you fall asleep. I wish you well

16km daily is fantastic. That would take me about 3 hours, I think. I started off using thé time to exercise, eat better and get things done, but lost all that momentum!

It is normal to lose momentum .....try and find something that makes you happy and then do that. I really hope you find your momentum soon. Good luck

10km already makes my legs go numb for 3 days. You are so lucky.

@Ongoluwa Thanks for the advice. I'm not much into exercising that's why.

I am so sorry, how about you try walking 2 kilometers and then build your momentum as your legs get strong. Chose a train that is easy to walk on as well.
