I found out this morning through the ESPN app that the long time Dolphins Coach had passed. Through out the years I've heard a lot about the hall of famer. Don Shula was one of the best and he will always be remembered. Don was the coach of the Miami Dolphins for 50 years and in 1972 had the only undeafeated season in the NFL. Never before had it been done and it hasn't been done since. Miami won the Superbowl that year against the Washington Redskins. The final score was 14-7. They also went on to win a Superbowl against the Minnesota Vikings 24-7. The last Superbowl the Dolphins were in they lost to the Dallas Cowboys 24-3. Don had led them to five Superbowls total but the games listed above were all in a row. What I didn't know, I had just found out today, that Don Shula was a Baltimore Colt coach before he went to Miami. He led them to the third Superbowl and lost. This is a big deal for me as I am a Baltimore Raven fan. I don't carry the hate that many do but it's still an interesting fact for me. No matter how it's listed. No matter what I forget to put into this article. The man had an amazing career. He was no doubt one of the most notable coaches in the NFL and no one deserves to be in the Hall of Fame more. He was 90 years old and passed peacefully. He will be remembered and forever missed. "Success is not forever and failure isn't fatal"- Don Shula *picture from google and information from espn

@JordanLader He looked great for his age. I remember seeing him at the White House in a wheelchair but he looked good.

@CarolDM I don't remember when the last time I saw him was. Maybe the last Hall of Fame.
