Chamkati Masjid was a very renowned monument in Malda and Murshidabad in West Bengal. Tourists come to these places to see the historical monuments over there. There were sections of society who offered prayers in these places. The informations are written in vernacular languages as well.

Thanks Kokilji from the engravings only we came to know that it was build during the period of Sultan Shamshuddin Yusuf shah and also the year of construction was also mentioned.
