Satyajit Ray was an Oscar Winning Director. He picked 3 short stories of Nobel Lauriete Rabindranath Tagore and a film. He named it Teen Kanya meaning three girls. The stories were named Post Master, Manihara and Samapti. It was a great combilation. The rich literature of Rabindranath Tagore was converted into celluloid. Anil Chatterjee, Kali Banerjee, Kanika Majumdar, Aparna Sen played notable roles in the film.
