They did it again! The town officials went from house to house to give away some free dressed chicken yesterday. It was huge compared to the usual chicken that you can buy from the market. They said it came straight from Magnolia Farms so it's nice. Even if I didn't get included for that cash assistance, I'm fine with it. The free supplies that they are giving away maybe just a small piece of that budget but I appreciate it. Just don't give sardines anymore please. Anyway, it seems that the government got successful diverting people's attention by closing down one TV network around here. People are now busy talking about it instead of the cash assistance.

Yes I heard there are towns whose food packs relief include whole chicken, in some places it is even live chicken, I guess that depends on who sponsored it. Seen the live chickens given in the provinces. The dressed chicken may have been from San Miguel Foods

@amitkokiladitya They said that they were unable to renew their franchise for a long time. It's been long pending but they still didn't do anything about it.

Magnolia chicken is delicious. I mostly bought it when I was in Pinas.

@cherriefic I agree. I think that is because they have special feeds.

Yes it is. At least everybody has a good meal around for a day or two.

I don't think so. It's shortlived. It's temporary. What important is their day to day subsistence.

True. Maybe after a few days people will come back to their senses and rant about their personal issues again.

So the TV network closing is a political tool.
