I was told I am an arrogant person... Ouch!

I dont know what came up with this close friend of mine. We usually chat on the phone on a daily basis. Our conversation usually touches on how our day was, sometimes we talked abt health stuff and other time, personal stuff. Today, I was telling her about what my plan was to tackle an issue with a person whom I have a conflict with. She started with her dissaproving my plan and then advising me to be tactful in dealing with that person. As usual, I would start to defend why I should go ahead with my plan when she suddenly said that I was an arrogant person. I dont understand why she said that since she knew me personally for many years but only now she said Im arrogant. Now I began to think maybe I am an arrogant person. Have anyone tell you are an arrogant person? How does it make you feel?

Yes, I have been called that. It's a joke. I have nothing to be arrogant about considering my position in life.
