Down and out

So much has been going on. Found out that my sister didn't pay 2 months car of payments. They were getting ready to repo the car. Found a way to settle. She finally gets her stimulus check. She owes me money and all she wants to give me chump change and expect me to be happy about it. Mom tries to take all the blame for her and that ticks me off. She's 40 years old and shrugs off her responsibilities. When I make her face the Rhode responsibilities, I'm the bad guy! >( we're having trouble making ends meet and she acts like everything is fine. 2020 was supposed to be the year I accomplished goals and all I've had are more obstacles. I'm done with this year. :'(

I don't know the full situation but your sister is the exact type of person I try to stay clear of. Parted ways with an old friend because she was immature and starting fights instead of working.

She's the baby in our family whereas I'm the oldest. As much as it could be easy to tell her to hit the road, it'll devastate mom. I can't cause that pain to her. :'(

@angelwithkids Oh I understand not wanting to cause your mom pain. I wish I could say hopefully your sister will mature, but if she's forty and still hasn't then I don't see how she will.

@ScribbledAdNauseum that's my concern as well. She cashed in on her retirement to get herself a vehicle. She's got to pay $50 more a month than what she was supposed to pay on my car. If she couldn't pay that car note, what's to say she's going to be able to pay a higher note? She'll end up looking this car too. That's my fear.
