I need a decaf

I love to drink coffee. Before the quarantine, I used to drink 2-3 mugs a day. Since the quarantine though, I'm been trying to stop myself to drink up to 5 mugs a day.
But every time, I sit in front of my laptop, I always crave to have one.
So I thought, to satisfy my craving without the additional dose of caffeine in my body, I'd have decaf for my mid-day coffee.
What do you think?

That's my limit. I don't want to go beyond five. Sometimes I wish I have a one-foot tall mug. Then I could limit my coffee to two-mugs a day.
hahaha

@jrlcentral Try, replace it with water or tea.

@mrki444 yeah, I do that some time. Instead of taking another mug of coffee, I drink water. But... coffee plus water... means I have to run more often to take a leak. hehehe

I think I drink more than 5 mugs of coffee a day. Decaf will just make you crave for more caffeine.

I take my decaf if I crave for more coffee after I finished a mug... I guess I just want to satisfy my taste buds while working.

I always crave for coffee too whenever I do something. I think drinking coffee while working is a big help. I used to drink 5 mugs of coffee in a day too, but my dad told me that it is not healthy and coffee beans are expensive to have more than 2 mugs a day. Hahahah

Both my coffee maker and french press are broken, so I'm using instant coffee for now... but when I had my french press, The four spoonful of ground coffee would last me a day... of course I have a diluted cup later in the day. hehe

@jrlcentral all habits in our hand... Slowly start taking less coffee.. When we feel to drink coffee try to drink green coffee or hot water it give good results and also helps to reduce taking coffee too.

@Lavanya15 Well... actually, I kicked my drinking habit on my own many years ago... but coffee... there are contrasting studies about its effect on our health... The most logical studies that I find, drink up to 4-5 cups is good. beyond 5, is not.
So I always keep it 3-4 a day. That's why I want to have a decaf to satisfy my taste buds and keep my brain working...
Not only I feel good, but I also get my blood chemistry checked every now and then. I'm about to have one this year. So far, everything is normal. :D
