RIP Little Richard

I learned this afternoon that Rock n Roll Pioneer Little Richard has passed away. I shared the post on Facebook and simply said, Say it isn't so. I didn't want to believe it and thought it was hoax. There's a few of those still going around. The man was only 87 years old. They call him a pianist-singer because of his magical work on the piano as well as his singing. He was behind the hits "Tuti Frutti", "Good Golly Miss Molly", and "Keep a Knockin'". Little Richard did so many more hits but those are what stand out in my mind. Without the public knowing, Little Richard battled bone cancer and lost. The reason I phrase it like I did is because normally when a celebrity gets cancer of any type, they do fundraisers and things to bring awareness to the deadly disease. When Little Richard passed, they kept death unknown for a bit before his son, Danny Jones, Penniman, came forward and confirmed his death. Then his lawyer told Rolling Stone of the cause. Little Richard will be missed by his fans and many fellow musicians. He had a huge impact on the musical community. I found out what little information there is from Rolling Stone and the image is from google.
