Before you think this is my mom’s pie it’s not. My mom can’t make pies at all. This is Mom’s Pie’s which is a little pie shop where I live. They have two location runned by the same families for several generations. Very popular little pie show. It really is very small it’s basically a shoe box that has pies on displace to by marked with the date they made, what kind, and it’s ingredients. I’ve never had Mom’s Pie’s before and my husband knows I’ve been wanting one for several years. Friday when he as still off he took me down there. He went into the shop and got my Apple pie. I’ve been having a piece or two every day since Friday. Part of my Mother’s Day gift and their store isn’t open on the weekends.

@amitkokiladitya me too it makes it last longer. Some times when I need a little pie fix I go to the store and they have these little home made ones for 50 cents so I typically get 2 so it’s a $1.00. So good and I warm it a little.

Family owned small eatable joints always provide good quality stuff.

@ShyBear88 I know some small roadside restaurants serving very good food at reasonable rates. Then they do some make over and improve the aesthetics, increase the prices but the quality decreases.

A lot of times they do. I’ve run across a few small business that really need some more help. This one is a good one, well know to the community been around for years. The one we went to is in old town so it’s a historical site too.

Wow, I've never tried baking before, but I want to have a business like that. Is it the best selling pie in you place? Does it taste good?

It’s one of the best in my area yes. It does indeed taste good. It’s doesn’t taste like a store pie that’s for sure.
