The little things that make the world easier to navigate

Shoe laces, door hinges, that thing at the bottom of the door (threshold?), snaps, velcro.... there are so many tiny things that make everyone's life easier. If they suddenly poofed, the world would be a much harder place to navigate.
Right now we are, many of us, still sheltering in place. I suspect we will have this sort of thing on and off for some time, because until there is a vaccine, this is going to keep cycling. So...why not ponder on something odd? lol
What other things can you add to this list? I bet I've missed tons.

@amitkokiladitya eh, I think alot of depression comes from other places, including imbalances in the brain
