Working on art again.

Started an oil painting last night. Don't know if it is going to come out like I wanted, but I'm going to try. It's not done yet, so nothing to share. I like how oil takes forever to try so that I can work on it over time, and not worry about things. I can come back later and change it up some if I want.
I started with painting the whole canvas black, and then am adding blues and greens over that. Eventually hopefully it will look like someone is in water looking up at the light.
I have to head off to the doctor soon, so I will be way behind on doing things online today. Is what it is.

@Jessicalynnt Acrylics are so quick, But the advantage with oils is you can change things as much as you want.

I hope it turns out the way you wanted it to. I am no good with that aspect of art. I can hardly draw, so I definitely could not paint. However, I have seen some youtube tutorials that I would love to eventually try for myself.

@Jessicalynnt I've seen lots of creative ways to paint on youtube. Of course, I've also seen people say "that's not even art!"

@ScribbledAdNauseum I dont care so much what popular opinion is. look up the sculpture outside Columbia public library. I know that's considered "art", I think it looks like a pile of painted scrap metal lol. I just want my stuff to be pretty
