How to cope with staying at home during this COVID pandemic?

We have been heroes for staying at home this quarantine period this COVID-19 pandemic. For us here in our community, it was about 60 days staying at home to prevent the further spread of the virus and save lives as well as spare our medical front liners from being exhausted of the increasing number of patients to be taken care of. Surely, all of us who have done our part in staying at home have our own ways to cope up with our situation this lockdown period.. having to take care of our financial needs, our physical needs like food, water, and medicine/vitamins, and our mental health as well. Some of us may have spend time enjoying and bonding with the family, or maybe learning a new skill, or going back to our old hobbies. There are lots of ways to cope up with our situation during this period. As for me, I spent time watching my old time favorite movies and dramas. I have finished my paint by number which I have procrastinated a long time. And I have gone back to my old hobby which is calligraphy. What is important is that we enjoy ourselves, we keep ourselves healthy not only physically but emotionally and mentally as well. How about you? How did you cope or still coping with being home quarantined during this COVID pandemic?

Yes, it really is new to us, so we have a pretty hard time to adjust with the situation. We just hope that all these will end soon so we can go back to most of our normal lives. Keep safe!

@amitkokiladitya I know, right. So we have to really be careful. And as they say, we now have to adopt our "new normal".

True. Staying at home may sound like not a big deal. But it helped the community a lot.

Yes, my dear. Indeed. It's the least we can do. So, it's really a pity that there are still other people who violates the community quarantine law and chooses to go out of their homes.

Yes we are so used to being out and about that the longer we stay at home, the more bored we become. :-) Which is why we have to think of something interesting to do even only at the premises of our homes. Be safe!

Yes, we are also heroes for staying home. Good to know that you are keeping your old hobbies back. I kept myself busy by planting some water spinach and sweet potatoes and after 2 weeks we already tasted the fruit of my labor.
