Went to the liquor store to buy a money order for 700.00. Josh and me are pretty good buddies, he owns the store. I asked for the money order and counted the money out. He gave me the money order but I didn't look at it to make sure it was for the right amount. When I get up the street. The money order was for only 500.00!!! Oh no, I said. I called big value liquors and told Josh he must've made a mistake. I gave him 700.00! He responded that he did in fact give me a 700.00 money order. I looked the money order again and fliiped over the first one. Sure enough the other 200.00 was stuck on the back of the 500.00 one. They were folded together! Thank goodness!! My blood pressure ran up for nothing. I thought my good buddy was trying to rip me off! Word to the wise, Always count your change and make sure your money orders are for the amount you paid before you leave the store!!!

I've done a few foolish things the past few days like pay for a lotto ticket and not taking it!! I blame it on old age not that I am 21!! Actually the biggest mistakes I do--well did--was not checking restaurant bills when I get them and instead waiting until I get home--have found a few mistakes, always in the restaurant's favor!!! LOL I should know better having worked in the business for years.

It really pays to count and check while still at the counter. Glad it was all okay.

Yes, I was ripped off once when the man gave me one for 5 dollars less. Glad my buddy Josh wasn't trying to rip me off!
