Maybe I should stick to asking in English? 
The mylot error fairy has visited me today. Had lots of them but refreshed and refreshed until they finally went away. Got so annoying that I ended up getting off of here earlier.

@AmbiePam I think a lot of people probably did. I haven't tried switching browsers with mylot, but I do not think that would help with this.

No, knock on wood, I'm not getting errors. I don't have a smart speaker; so it can't be smarter than me! :-)

Glad you aren't getting any errors. I've only had a little trouble with the errors today. I use my smart speaker for music, weather, alarm and timer. It took me a long time to finally decide to get one.

I had more of them yesterday than I have ever had. However, if they started tinkering with the site..they might have to go out of commission for a time, and I hate when sites do that, because they never seem to come back when they are supposed to. They probably don't want to lose potential revenue either. My speaker is pretty smart, but it really depends on what you ask it. I currently have Amazon music, and I like it. I have it free for 3 months (well maybe 2 now) and although I am a tightwad, I will probably keep it..as you can play just about anything, unlike the music sample thing they give you initially.

I feel like they have (in the past) gone down for maintenance and just forewarned everyone. Maybe that was when they were redesigning the site though.

They removed Spanish from my course in college so I never really learned it... but my cousin taught me the first phrase I learned: Que hora es. She said it means what time is it. How different is it from que hora son? 
Any mylot errors I encountered last night, I attribute to my slow internet.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Hmm... I wonder if there is a difference in the Spanish in Mexico, and Spanish from Spain...

@moirai There is a difference, but I am not sure what the differences are. I believe the Spanish we learn here in school comes from Spain. However, if we learn from friends then it is mostly from Mexico, Argentina or Venezuela.

Yes, i think that's the easiest thing to do. Log off and concentrate on other things instead.

@kobesbuddy It reminds me of the days of dial up. One could read a book, watch television or even take care of the dishes from dinner while waiting for a page to load.

I've been hearing about people having errors, but it's the first time it happened to me. I"m glad it went away after a short time for you. Hopefully it won't occur for me today.

well, I was speaking Spanish (not my native tongue), but even when i speak English it will not understand me sometimes.
The speaker needs you to speak at a moderate pace, but not too slow or it interrupts and tries to search for whatever you are asking.
